A 96 min DVD which takes a rather unique look at what the GAA has meant to the people of a small rural irish parish captures on camera the thoughts and recollections of many of the characters associated with the club down through the years.

From stories of the famed Riordan Brothers in 1896, the only two brothers to win All-Irelands on the same day in two separate codes, to the clubs last senior All- Ireland winner, Michael Ryan in 1991, this DVD charts the highs and lows, the controversies, the characters, and the fun that the GAA has brought to the area in the last 125 years.

It goes on sale on Friday Nov 27th. The DVD can be pre-ordered from http://www.hurlinginthehills.com

The DVD will be launched in Murray's function room in Upperchurch on Nov 27th 2009 by the President of the GAA Christy Cooney.

All proceeds from the DVD will be directed towards club development.
