Indie legends Dinosaur Jr are to play the Blackbox in Galway on May 10th and Vicar street on May 11th. Tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster. They are being supported by Built to Spill. Really looking forward to this Gig. Looking forward to seeing Built to Spill play as well. Currently listening to their album There is no enemy

I did a search on youtube lately for DADGAD examples of music, came across someone covering a Justin King track. This led me to this, which is amazing, humbling and inspiring.

I was introduced to Anna Terheim's music 5 years ago. Her music is simple but complex in its arrangement. When I hear Lisa Hannigan sing I am reminded of Anna's voice and music.  I am still waiting for her to play in Ireland !!!

I grew up watching the muppet show on television. Their version of Bohemian Rapsody is a classic.

Dinosaur Jr will release pieces as their new single on October 13th as download only and a tour only 7 inch vinyl version.

Dinosaur Jr seem intent on garnering the title of "Hardest working band" as their mammoth touring schedule shows no sign of abatement. I received an email from them last night listing their schedule for north america. Their performance in new york with sonic youth is already sold out.
